Looking for performers for the Illawarra Folk Festival Youth Stage


Young performers under 25 years are invited to apply to perform at the Youth Stage, at the Illawarra Folk Festival held 13th-16th January 2011.

Since its inception, the Youth Stage at the Illawarra Folk Festival, has been a fantastic showcase of young talent and has featured wild tango ensembles, gypsy bands, folk infused instrumentalists, didjeridu playing guitarists and inspired young singer/song writers.

Ann Lehmann, Youth Stage Coordinator says, “the Youth Stage at the Illawarra Folk Festival gives talented acoustic musicians a platform to be heard. Youth performers also receive a Season Pass, valued at $110, to the Illawarra Folk Festival for themselves and a parent.”


Applications close on the 30 August 2010.
