When is the Stage 1 Festival Pass deadline and how much do I save?
The Stage 1 ticket deadline is 4 December. You save $35 on the Full Season Pass price and $75 on the individual session prices if they were bought seperately. The Illawarra Folk Festival is arguably the best value festival in the country - 4 days, 120 acts, 250 concerts, international artists, great spirit... To buy passes go online or call 1300 887 034
When is the programme announced?
The full list of performers will be announced in Spetember / October. The full programme should be out by the end of November.
Can I buy a ticket for just one concert?
No. Only day, evening and season passes are available.
Where can I stay?
On-site camping is available for $20 per adult with children free. There are many caravan parks, motels and hotels within 30km radius. Call Torism Wollongong 1800 240 737 for other accommodation options. Click here for more detail.
When does the on-site camp site open?
The on-site camp opens 9am Wednesday 13 January. There is a Dog Race that evening so they may be some inconvenience with vehicles and greyhounds about!
On-site camp opens Tuesday 9am for volunteers only.
There are no powered sites. If you require power it is recommended to try the nearby Caravan Parks -
Where can I park?
There is plenty of parking inside the Showground. It is more secure and has less impact on the neighbours and businesses nearby. Once you have your armband passes you can find a spot for an easy 100 metre maximum walk into the festival.
Can I come just for one day?
Yes. You can purchase tickets full day or evening tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Can I buy food at the festival?
Yes. There are a variety of food outlets inside the festival. The Heritage Hotel has a fine bistro style menu.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. All venues are licensed.
Can children go into venues?
All allow children when accompanied by an adult.
