How to Purchase Passes

  1. To purchase passes securely online with a credit card to the 25th Illawarra Folk Festival please complete the form below. You can save money by purchasing Season Passes and buying them early!
  2. After you have completed the form you will be directed to a secure online credit card processing service hosted by Direct One.
  3. Once your credit card has been successfully processed you will be sent a confirmation email of your order.
  4. You need to bring the confirmation email and the credit card you purchased the order with to the Festival Ticket Office at the Bulli Showground. You will then receive an armband once your order has been validated with your credit card. This armband becomes your pass into all the Festival venues.

CATCH THE GREEN MUSIC TRAIN

Dedicated carriages will not only ensure you travel in comfort in the most eco friendly and safest way, but your festival will start when you step on the train. Musicians will entertain you on the trip to Bulli Station which is just five minutes walk to the Festival. Click here for more information.

A season pass allows entry to all events at the Festival. It excludes entry to the Folk Music School. Seperate payment is required.
 World's Largest Tin Whistle Band Registration
Registration includes 'C' Tin Whistle, sheet music for the Guinness World Record Attempt, tuition and lots of fun! All proceeds will go to a Charity to be nominated.
 Weekend Pass
Pass for Saturday and Sunday of festival.
 Day Pass
Day passes begin at 8am and finish at midnight. Availabe for Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
 Evening Pass (from 6pm)
Evening Pass from 6pm to Midnight available Friday and Saturday.
 Tent Camping Pass (with Season / Weekend Pass only)
Only with purchase of Season or Weekend Pass. Youth and children accompanied by their paying parents are free. Please select PASS on the basis of day of arrival. There are only 50 Tent sites for Wednesday. Full camp site is open from 10am on Thursday
 Caravan / Motorhome Camp Pass
Only with purchase of Season or Weekend Pass. Youth and children accompanied by their paying parents are free. Available from Wednesday. There are no powered sites.

Conditions of Ticket Sale

By submitting this order form you are agreeing to comply by the Ticket Conditions below

1. Tickets Refunds
REFUNDS are available until 8 January 2010 with a 10% cancellation fee.   Refunds after 8 January are not available.
2. You are responsible for your ticket.
If you arrive without your pre-issued Ticket, you will be refused entry or charged again at the Gate Ticket price.

3. Ticket Armband Exchange
You will need to present your Voucher to exchange for a coloured armband at the Festival Office, located at the entrance to the Bulli Showground. You must wear the armband at all times to gain entry. This armband becomes your pass into venues. If you are not wearing a wristband you will be refused entry to the site and be asked to leave.
4. Offensive Behaviour
The Festival has the right to refuse entry or evict patrons who behave in a manner that is inappropriate, offensive to others, or illegal.
5. Sound and Video Recording
Sound and Video recording are not permitted without prior written consent of the Festival Chairperson.
6. Entry to the Festival and venues is at your own risk.
8. The Program
The Festival resumes the right to vary the advertised artists and/or program.

CAMPING

  • Camp site opens 10am Wednesday 13 January 2010 and closes 5pm Monday 18 January 2010
  • Camping sites only available for Season Pass purchasers only
  • Total camp space allocation is 5 metres square.
  • There are limited numbers of sites available so please come early!
  • Camper vans, caravans, motor homes are welcome and to be positioned in designated areas
  • Campers under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a camping parent 
  • No pets or campfires.

NO ALCOHOL to be brought into the Festival. The area is a Licensed Venue.
NO PETS allowed in Camping or Festival grounds.
MEAL BASED EVENT BOOKINGS can be made on-line or during the Festival. But do it early!

The 25th Illawarra Folk Festival is now over with more than 9000 people attending the festival over the 4 days. The 26th Illawarra Folk Festival is scheduled for 13-16 January 2011. Artist applications open in April and close 31 July 2010.
