General Volunteers

We request 10 - 12 hours (as required) of volunteering from General and Green Folk

volunteers in return for the volunteer benefits

Green Folk Volunteers

We request 10 - 12 hours (as required) of volunteering from General and Green Folk

First Time Volunteers

Is this your first time volunteering at the Illawarra Folk Festival? If it is, please let us know

when completing the application form and we will try our best to reduce your hours to 8

hours while still maintaining the general volunteer benefits.

Youth Volunteers

Are you between 15 and 18? You can still volunteer! We have reduced the hours for our

youth volunteers to a maximum of 8 hours. Not all teams and duties are suitable for Youth

volunteers. We have some additional paperwork that is required from your parents /

Guardians. Note: Youth volunteers are not able to camp without a supervising parent present

for the festival.

Senior Volunteers

Nothing to do with your age and everything to do with being a boss.

Senior Volunteer (Team Leader) extra benefits 12+ hours (as required):

Senior Volunteers generally become team leaders and provide more than 12 hours of time.

They receive additional benefits.
